Munich’s underground music scene is about to embrace a compelling new addition with Dark Solstice, a band that embodies the dark and brooding essence of metal with a sound deeply inspired by legends like Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth and Dark Funeral.
Band Members and Their Musical Journey
Michael “RISTRIDI” Wöß, known for his work with Agathodaimon and his YouTube channel, brings his songwriting prowess and guitar skills to the band.
Jonathan Rittirsch, who has already lent his powerful voice to Michael’s previous projects, takes on the role of lead vocalist.
Jakob Burde, formerly of the Munich Death Metal group “Hailstone,” brings his intense drumming style to the band.
Maurice Gerczuk, a longtime friend of Michael, handles the Bass with precision and passion.
Alexander Meyer, once a member of the Thrash Metal group “Engera,” plays Rhythm Guitar, adding depth and complexity to the band’s sound.
